The following are common questions and the answers about The-Bar-End.com hosting.

Is The-Bar-End.com a commercial operation?
No. The-Bar-End.com is run by Edward Barend, an Australian citizen. Due to the resources available to me (which are beyond my personal needs) I have decided to allow Australian individuals or Australian groups or Australian associations wishing to have a website to use these excess resources free from any hosting charge so long as the abide by the hosting Guidelines. The service is provided on an "as is" basis.

How is The-Bar-End.com hosting funded?
The-Bar-End.com is funded out of my own pocket. Admitably my pockets are not deep, and saving a major event, most of the costs should be able to be meet. If there is a need for additional funding for any reason I will email participants to see if they wish to make a voluntary gift. As I am not a gift receipient or a business (this service is a hobby of mine) under the Australian Income Tax legislation it is expected that these gifts will not be tax deductible.

How will you know if I am an Australian Resident?
Part of the initial formalities will be to obtain information about who you are. For individuals this will require a copy of your current drivers license or Australian Passport or other acceptable form of identification. This information will only be used in accordance with the Privacy Policy for The-Bar-End.com.
